Privacy Policy

This policy covers colorbondfenceperth.com.au, operated by WA Fencing and Retaining (ABN 33 784 569 845). It explains what we collect, why, and what happens to it. We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles.

What we collect

Only what you give us. If you fill in the estimate form, that is your name, phone number, email address, suburb and whatever you write in the message field. If you ring us, it is your name, phone number, the address of the job and the details of what you need done.

We do not ask for and have no use for your date of birth, financial details, or any government identifier. Please do not send them.

Why we collect it

To call you back, arrange a free on-site measure, and give you a quote. That is the whole purpose. We do not sell your details, we do not trade them, and we do not add you to a mailing list.

Phone calls

Calls to (08) 7666 0073 are answered by an automated assistant that takes your details and passes them to a fencer. The assistant keeps a written record of the call so the person ringing you back knows what you asked for. If you would rather not have your details recorded, say so on the call and we will end it there.

Who else handles your information

Form submissions are processed by Formspree, a third-party form service, and delivered to us by email. The website is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. The call assistant is provided by a third-party voice service. Each of these providers handles data under its own terms and only for the purpose of getting your enquiry to us.

We will also pass your enquiry to the relevant crew within WA Fencing and Retaining if your job is outside Colorbond fencing.

Tracking

This site runs no analytics, no advertising pixels and no tracking cookies. We do not know who you are until you contact us.

How long we keep it

Enquiry details are kept while we are quoting or working on your job, and for a reasonable period afterwards in case of warranty or follow-up questions. Ask us to delete your details and we will.

Access, correction and complaints

You can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Ring (08) 7666 0073 or use the contact page. If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, tell us first and we will try to sort it out. If that does not resolve it, you can take the matter to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
